Tour Itinerary

Day 1Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Incas - Aguas Calientes

Today we will visit the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will go to your hotel to pick you up in our private transportation at 7:00am, we will go to the first place to visit the archaeological center of Pisac, but before we will make a stop at the Mirador de Taray to take beautiful pictures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Continuing we will go to the Inca archaeological site of Pisac, where we will have a guided tour of the Agricultural, Religious, Urban areas, we will also have the opportunity to see the largest Inca cemetery in the area with more than 2 thousand tombs. We will spend about two hours exploring the entire archaeological site. Then we will go to the traditional market of Pisac.

Then we will head to the town of Urubamba where we will have a buffet lunch, then our next stop will be in Moray, better known as an Inca laboratory for its deep circular shape. We will continue to the pre-Inca salt mines of Maras (Salineras), where salt has been extracted since the time of the Incas.

Then our trip will continue to Ollantaytambo, an Inca village that has remained intact over the years, we will have a guided tour of the archaeological site with its temples and agricultural areas, finally we will have free time for dinner.

Finally, our trip will continue by train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will be transferred to your hotel for the night.

Day 2Visit to Machu Picchu and return to Cusco.

Today is the most awaited day, after breakfast at the hotel we will board the bus that will take us to the citadel of Machu Picchu, once here we will enter and go to the top to have the best view and photo of Machu Picchu.

Then begins our guided tour of the park of Machu Picchu, we will visit the religious, urban, agricultural, industrial, etc.. for two hours in which you can learn a lot about their functions of each place and history.

After the guided tour of Machu Picchu park we will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included). Depending on the train’s return time, you can explore the town or go shopping.

The train will depart at 14:55 or 15:20 from Aguas Calientes to the town of Ollantaytambo or Poroy, where our driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel in the city of Cusco, arriving at about 19:00 hours.

    For a single room there is an extra charge.
  • TicketsEntrance to Machu Picchu archaeological park and the tourist ticket (BTG boleto turistico) are included for all tours included in the itinerary.
  • All transportation and privateTransportation is included for all excursions from arrival to departure. Also included is the Consettur bus to and from Machu Picchu.
  • Vista Done & Expedition Train The Expedition train is included for the outbound trip and the Vistadone panoramic train with show and on-board service for the return trip.
  • FoodThe hotel includes breakfast, we do not include meals, but our guides will recommend the best places. However, we will give you a dinner as a parting gift.
  • Medical KitOur entire team is trained in first aid, all our guides carry a first aid kit to deal with emergencies, as well as a small oxygen tank.

  • Single Roomif you need a single room there is an additional cost.
  • Gratuities for staffTipping is a common tradition in any type of excursion, usually group participants pool their tips to give to the muleteers, cooks and guides. Although we pay a good salary to our entire team, an extra for them is always appreciated.
  • Food lunches and dinners are not included. However, we will provide you with a complimentary dinner.
  • Travel insurance: It is not mandatory, but it is recommended to purchase it to protect yourself financially from any lost excursion.

How to Book?

To book you have to deposit the required amount through Paypal and the personal data of all participants. Only with this we will be able to confirm your booking.

Deposit required:  US$ 200.00 per person.

Balance: The remaining balance can be paid in advance via Paypal with an additional 5% fee, or you can pay in Cusco with cash without taxes before the tour starts.

Extras and improvements

These mountains can be visited after finishing the guided tour to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

  • Huayna Picchu Mountain: US $ 50 This is the famous mountain behind the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. It takes 50 minutes to climb and another 40 minutes to return, you can climb this mountain once the guided visit to Machu Picchu is finished. Entrance to this mountain has an additional cost, and must be reserved in advance.
  • Machu Picchu Mountain : US $ 50This is the other mountain that surrounds the archaeological site of Machu Picchu, it is less popular than Huayna Picchu and takes 1.5 hours to climb. It also requires an extra entrance fee.
